Also known as Vaca Vieja, this is more flavorful meat that does better with slow-cooking methods. Makes fantastic ground beef, stew meat, premium steaks, and slow-cooked roasts. This 5 year old Angus cow will have more fat cover. Never given antibiotics, hormones, or grain. 1/4 will have a hanging weight of ~200 to 230 lbs.

1/16 - $100 Deposit: $5.00/lb hanging weight. You will receive ~31 to 35 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$150 to $190 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$55 to $75.
1/8 - $200 Deposit: $4.50/lb hanging weight. You will receive ~62 to 70 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$250 to $320 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$110 to $150.
1/4 - $400 Deposit: $4.25/lb hanging weight. You will receive ~124 to 140 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$450 to $580 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$220 to $290.
1/2 - $800 Deposit: $4.00/lb hanging weight. You will receive ~248 to 280 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$800 to $1,080 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$440 to $580.
