Also known as Vaca Vieja, this is more flavorful meat that does better with slow-cooking methods. Makes fantastic ground beef, stew meat, premium steaks, and slow-cooked roasts. These older Angus cows from our farm will have more fat cover. Never given antibiotics, growth hormones, or grain. 1/4 will have a hanging weight of ~150 to 210 lbs.

1/16 - $100 Deposit: $5.75/lb hanging weight which will be between 37 lbs and 55 lbs. You will receive ~22 to 33 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$115 to $215 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$65 to $85.
1/8 - $200 Deposit: $5.00/lb hanging weight which will be between 75 lbs and 105 lbs. You will receive ~45 to 65 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$175 to $325 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$120 to $160.
1/4 - $400 Deposit: $4.75/lb hanging weight which will be between 150 lbs to 210 lbs. You will receive ~95 to 130 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$310 to $600 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$210 to $300.
1/2 - $800 Deposit: $4.50/lb hanging weight which will be between 300 lbs and 420 lbs. You will receive ~190 to 260 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$550 to $1,190 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$420 to $600.
Whole - $1600 Deposit: $4.25/lb hanging weight which will be between 600 lbs and 840 lbs. You will receive ~380 to 520 lbs of Angus Beef. The balance of ~$950 to $1,970 is due when your beef is at the butcher. The butcher costs will be ~$800 to $1100.
